So, There is a Kung Fu tournament coming up on September 23. You can find out more about the tournament here.

I am planning on competing in at least two different events this year. Northern Short weapon, for sure, and possible long weapon, or hand form. For short weapon I will do broadsword, This I plan on coming home with a gold on. For long weapon, I will do Long shaft, and for hand form, I guess I will do Dwen Da, as it is really the only intermediate level tournament form I know. As The Hua Chuans are too long, and twenty methods is more of a beginner form. The other thing I may do, is fight. I am planning on it, but I want to fight a few times in class and with a few of my bigger friends, and depending on how I feel, I may or may not fight. More then Likely I will, but it all depends. The plan is to fight a few of the smaller faster guys in class, and a few of the bigger, slower stronger guys. So if I can take a hit from the strong guys, and get in on the fat guys I should be alright. Either way it should be fun.
