Advanced Classes
morgothan | 27 02 2007First I would like to apologize for the delay in posting. Hopefully this crazy work schedule that I was on, will not come again anytime soon. As for my Kung Fu training, it is still going very strong. Since my last post I have learned Hua Chuan 4, single man and both sides of the two man version. It is a very nice form. Lots of interesting techniques. The two man is also very fun, as it follows very close to the single man. I have also started learning Pa Kua. It is very interesting, and my shoulders hurt after every class. I still am having some trouble seeing some of the application of many of the techniques. I imagine it will take time for the martial aspects to be apparent to me. It is very interesting though, as it is very evasive. Lots of turning, and spinning, and moving. Hsing Yi is also going well, we have a few new student taking it, so we are now going over all the basic stuff again. It is good to review it, allows for more refinement of the moves. In the beginner Shaolin class we are finishing up on lien bu. Which is a very nice form. Yesterday I did it with three rings on. I think I will start doing that every class again. It made the forms a much better work out, and helps to focus more. I should have a few pictures of me doing my various forms that I should post up here. Maybe this weekend I can motivate myself to do it.
