Chin Na 4
morgothan | 8 08 2007So I finished learning Chin Na 4 last week. I now know everything I need to know in order to test for my purple sash. Then it is just a matter of time before I am ready for my black sash. Before I test though, I really need to work on my double edge form. It is very short, but incredible dense. The last line in the form feels so unnatural to me. I should probably work on it exclusively, but if I do that I run the risk of losing the Chin Na forms and Hua Chuan 2. It is amazing to me to think about how much material I have learned. I realized the other day that there is only one more open handed form, one two man form and two weapons forms for me to know our entire shaolin system. Now I say know, but there is a large gap between knowing the system and really grokking the system. That will take more time then even I can think of at this point.
